Our read before the game

Kocaelispor's home record and Göztepe's centre-back crisis favour the hosts, though value is thin

Kocaelispor have never lost to Göztepe in their last four meetings and are the stronger side at home, while Göztepe arrive with their centre-back pool stripped down by injury. That combination favours the hosts to win or at least avoid defeat, even though the visitors' habit of drawing away games keeps a clean away result alive.
